Career Pathways
Program Description
Career Pathways Team members coordinate the implementation of
innovative career and technical education programs. They assist school
districts in strengthening the academic, career and technical components
of career and technical education to provide students with a strong
experience in and understanding of all aspects of an industry. Career
Pathways Team members promote the development of comprehensive
sequential occupational instruction supporting integration with Arizona
Academic Standards.
Team members assist school districts in program planning to establish
career and technical education programs that reflect high-skill,
high-wage jobs in current and emerging occupations. All career and
technical programs are evaluated based on Arizona Performance Measures
outlined in the Arizona's
State Plan.
