"Beyond Customer
Service ~ An Opportunity to Make a Difference"
Thank you for contacting the Arizona Department of Education regarding your concerns. If you are contacting us regarding the upcoming Presidential speech, please note the following:
Superintendent Horne has issued a statement regarding the upcoming speech. Click here to view that press release.
Superintendent Horne has alerted schools to the materials provided by the White House/U.S. Department of Education. However, the decision to broadcast Tuesday’s speech is up to each local school district. Arizona Revised Statute 15-102 allows parents who object to any learning material or activity on the basis that it is harmful may withdraw their children from the activity or from the class or program in which the material is used.
